Then what about Traditional Media? What’s ahead?”We are incredibly living in a world where everything is at our fingertips. We don’t even require a large number of technical gadgets. A tiny smart cellphone can play a powerful role in transforming one’s life. It just needs to have an extremely high quality internet connection and a great battery service. Indisputably, digital media has entirely occupied the most significant place in the universe and made our lives much easier than before. But despite the widespread popularity of using digital media we still have a certain number of people who can’t forget the existence of traditional media. However, what do you think ? Or is it still going out ?As we all know, traditional media such as (Newspaper, Radio, Print, Broadcast, Television , Telephone etc) are the most productive and virtual resources for exploring and accessing a wide range of knowledge and information. On the other hand , digital media such as (Videos, Blogs, Social Media, Facebook, Websites, YouTube etc) have already captured more than half of people’s attention throughout the world. But we still can’t deny the role of traditional media. I am pretty fortunate to elaborate that a considerable number of people still trust in traditional media and use it as a source of gaining practical wisdom and information. Especially the people who are about fifty five , sixty or above sixty are intensely dependent upon traditional media and we can easily find out to see their lifestyles. They are indeed more comfortable using traditional media rather than digital media. Moreover traditional media is also being used like digital media for better communication.On the other hand, traditional media has sometimes been overlooked by some aged people too. Why is it so ? In my experience, we are getting busier nowadays and always looking for shortcuts. So in this case, traditional media is just an option in our lives. But despite these, I am proud to say that it has actually transformed the lives of many people around the world. For instance, a considerable number of people are being employed by using traditional media. Although some fake news, fake advertisements are also being published in newspapers, some innocent people blindly believe in such fake information and face many problems in life , yet we can’t deny its authenticity which has sparked many young stars. If traditional media exposes fake information then what about digital media? Do they give us all accurate information? Even digital media has become the most vital source of spoiling relationships. Then which media should we believe? I am pretty unsure about it.In the light of the above, I can undoubtedly say that traditional media shouldn’t be overlooked by people as it still plays a fundamental role in our lives. Although it has its downside too, does it mean we should entirely avoid traditional media? What is your opinion ? I am intensely looking for an answer to it.- Dalia...
